We just returned from a dear Kenyan friend’s house where we sang Michael W. Smith’s song, Let it Rain and we rejoiced that God indeed reigned and showed us how powerful He is by providing just what we need to return to Kenya for the next two years! The floodgates have opened and we are so grateful to God for answering our prayers! He knew exactly what was required for clearance from Africa Inland Mission and, even though we aren’t fully supported YET for full time missions, we know that our heavenly Father will provide just what we need WHEN we need it!

We cannot thank you enough for praying with us these last weeks as we petitioned God to finally get us to Kenya! We think He grew weary of our persistence!  So many of you chose to join us in the last week or two and we thank the Lord for ALL those who He has brought into our lives to serve with us. We are humbled hourly, blessed beyond belief, and excited to no end! Asante sana!!! (thank you very much!)

Our flights are confirmed for August 9–departing out of Chicago O’Hare at 5:15 pm and arriving in Nairobi, Kenya at 9:00 pm on August 10. Rejoice with us!
